A code-fest is an event where hackers get together for coding. Usually they communicate with each other on the Internet but a code-fest is an opportunity for them to meet face-to-face. Typical activities include writing code together to solve a problem, bug-squashing marathons, settle software releases, and most importantly enjoy hacking!

Theme: Optimizing GNU/Linux (with a special emphasis on Live CD distros)

If you are interested in attending this event please contact the following individuals:

For Sri Lankan Nationals: Devaka Randeniya | Anuradha Ratnaweera

For Nationals from all other Nations: NIIBE Yutaka

Note that the code-fest is not a learning exercise. Please request to attend only if you are an experienced programmer with a good understanding of the internals of GNU/Linux, C and scripting. Only a limited number of slots are available and will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The code-fest is a continuous event. Participants are not required to stay throughout the 39 hour period, but we strongly encourage to do so.
